NITrades is the most comprehensive online trade directory of tradesmen, trade service suppliers, and a variety of other specialist trades in Northern Ireland. Our aim is to provide a quality resource for those requiring the services of businesses listed here, and a means of low-cost advertising and online promotion for tradesmen and suppliers.

As an NI-based website we have the interests of our advertisers and users at heart. NITrades has been launched in response to consumers’ requirements for free, reliable and up to the minute information throughout Northern Ireland. In this internet-savvy age, a rapidly-increasing number of people are relying on the internet to find goods and services. This site is designed with simplicity in mind; membership and registration is not required for the public to use NI Trades, search the databases or avail of other benefits online. As tradesmen become more used to advertising online, there is an increasing need for a central online resource for Northern Ireland on which tradesmen can advertise effectively at a low cost.

Registration is required for our innovative Request-A-Tradesman feature, giving people the ability to request for work to be done to their businesses or homes within a set budget. It is our plan to engage the public to use this FREE feature to post all types of work that they need done. In this way, the public can also get a "good deal" in that they will have a number of tradesmen interested in their projects. NI - based Tradesmen will be able to check the noticeboard or be notified via SMS, and express an interest in the jobs that are nearest and most suitable to them.

There is also a growing archive of useful, informative articles - from how to qualify as an electrician in Northern Ireland, find a reputable joiner or get your car ready for winter to house-building and renovation tips, ways in which to increase your house value and general product reviews.
